REVIEW: Daenerys Wig by Geisha Wigs

I purchased the wig for my Daenerys Targaryen cosplay from an english website callded: Geisha Wigs. The item I chose is called Khaleesi and you can find it here.

Wig Specification

The item is a light blonde wig made of synthetic fibers. The length of the wig is 70cm.

I purchased the wig for 22£. 

Description

The wig resembles Daenerys' hair in season 1 and 2, with a lot of volume and without a particular hair style, as in the Dothraki period.

Personally, I used the wig for the season 3 cosplay of Daenerys, when she has a more severe look, characterized by braids on the sides. To achieve this look I simply braided the long front strands and I fixed them in place with invisible elastics and some pins.

Even if not perfect (and I am actually really bad in working with wigs, since I don't have a dummy head to help me) I indeed really like the result. Moreover, the wig quality is good and this specific style allows me to use the same wig also for other Daenerys versions.

Final Opinion

The wig quality is really good compare to the price, however it does lose some fibers but this does not affect the final result of the wig that is indeed quite accurate compare to the TV version.
I would purchase this item again (or maybe one of the new version - see below)and I will definitely purchase new wigs from the Geisha Wigs Store since I enjoyed also their customer care service (I had some issues with the delivery that got lost twice and they sent the items again replying immediately to my emails).

Others 

Recently the store Geisha Wigs made 2 new wigs for Daenerys. If you wish to be closer to the book, you can purchase the new, braided version of the wig made in silver.

Instead, if you prefer, you can find another new blonde wig with already braids incorporated.
