REVIEW: Daenerys Dress by Cosplay Sky

Description:

The dress is really well made, with high quality material (linen) and completely lined. It has a convenient long zip on the back that make it easy to wear it. The shoulder parts do not show any visible sewing, suggesting a professional manifacture.

The color of the dress is a bright blue. This is very different from the dirty look of the TV serie. However, this may be easy to fix by doing tea-washing of the dress. Personally, I love the blue and I decided to keep it like that, also because I was scared to ruin it.

 

As mentioned, I purchased a size SMALL as suggested by the size charts provided on the website. It fits me perfectly (169cm, 55kg) but it may be on the short side if you are taller than 170cm (since the chart considers, for a size small, a height of 160cm).

Unfortunately, they do not have available a cape to match the dress. Personally, having used the dress for a late autumn convention, I made my very simple cape with hood by purchasing some bright blue linen fabric (that matched exactly the color of the dress! I was very lucky).

Final Opinion:

Overall, the dress has a great quality/price ration and I would definetely buy it again. Considering also the friendly staff and great customer service of Cosplay Sky, I am sure I will soon purchase a new costume.
